Welcome to Petersham Junior Rugby 2016
Play Rugby Union at our friendly family oriented club. You cannot have enough players! We are a rapidly growing club with great plans to grow further and teach kids all the great things that rugby has to offer. If they have any questions, direct them to send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org.
Your kids will be well looked after, the best training, lots of advice, and just like the big boys, get their very own training shirt. We aim to field teams as per below; If your Son, or Daughter turn 5 in this calendar year they can become a Shammy. As a club on the rise, with great support your kids will be well looked after and learn rugby on and off the pitch in the right way. The junior and senior clubs are one big team, Petersham has been playing rugby continuously since 1883. Why not register today?

u/12 Tour of NZ:
Petersham RUFC, has a very proud overseas touring history, in 2013, we sent a team to NZ with generous club support. We plan to do this again this year and there is more to come on this great opportunity.
Other big events planned for this year include, but wont be limited to;
- The Annual Rugby Luncheon, cly in June, a day not to be missed. We rely on the Seniors for financial support, they’ve been great as we establish the Juniors, so getting a seat to this will be just a small way to say thank-you. Its also the best money you’ll spend all year.
- Trivia night and/ or Karaoke night TB
Petersham Rugby is known to have the best rugby off field kit going around, so much so we get asked to do other clubs gear…. but we don’t! This will be launched mid-April. Its one of the main sources of fund-raising and with our speaks for itself fund-raising motto of ‘we don’t do chocolates’, please think about making a purchase.
Wests Ashfield westsashfield.com.au – In season 2015 we enjoyed the generosity of Wests Ashfield Leagues, located on the Hume Hwy at Ashfield, our main sponsor for this year. Its a great club the caters for the whole family and is well led by Simon Cook, CEO. He’s a keen rugby lover himself, an assistant coach, we thank him, the board and his team.
We welcome on board Platinum Direct Finance platinumdirectfinance.com.au with the support of owner and Director Richard Kew and Dave Lenehan, who is also our first grade coach. When it comes to buying and financing a vehicle, there are none better. These guys are helping us keep kids on the paddock with their generous support, so please don’t hesitate to ask your team mange for more information.
Petersham has a long and proud association with PhysioGym physiogym.net.au, owned by Matt Squires. They have a great facility and provide a lot of valuable support to the club, its players and extended family.
